Is pre-med impacted?

<p>I thought pre-med is just a track. Does it make a difference if you want to take the pre-med track at Hopkins or not, for admissions?</p>

<p>Sorry if this has been answered before. I just noticed someone saying in their chance thread
"not pre-med" and wondered if it affected admissions..</p>

<p>Doesn’t matter. What matters is that your application supports what you claim your interests are. If you plan to do pre-med but nothing on your application shows evidence of medicine, science, research, or volunteer work, then you’ll be in trouble.</p>
