Hey everyone. So my dad is forcing me to apply to Rutgers (I'm in-state) for hopes of a scholarship. Does anyone know if an A average and 2250 SAT automatically give you the Presidential Scholarship, or are other factors considered?

In the past a class rank in the top 5% and an sat of at least 2250 qualified you - but it wasn’t a guarantee. Don’t know what else they consider at that point.

Thank you! Does anyone know if scholarship notification comes with admission?

No scholarships come later

Not a guarantee from what I’ve heard. Scholarships come out mid-December, however you must apply by Nov1.

Just a tip - even if Rutgers is your #1 school, do not accept until you get your scholarship $. D1’s SAT was just under Presidential level and she received a very meager scholarship. We wonder if putting her deposit down within 24 hours of getting her acceptance factored into this. We think they must have realized it was small when we got a letter in July awarding her an extra $1000/year.
