I got 2 C's this year. One in AP Lang and one in AP Psych. I ended up with a 5 on the Psych exam and a 3 on the Lang exam. There are only 1 or 2 schools that I'm applying to that require a recommendation (I'm getting mine from the Psych teacher). Is there a way to let colleges know that I still got a 5 on the exam or will they only see the C on the transcript. And if I only send the 5 on Psych, will they think I failed the Lang exam?

If you use the common app then yes, there is a spot for you to report up to 8 AP exam (along with subject test) scores.

You self-report AP scores most college applications, you only send an official AP score report to the school where you matriculate.

If there isn’t a place to self-report, your Psych teacher could mention it or you could put it in an Additional Information Section if there is one.

I’m not doing the Common App. Would it be weird if I didn’t report all my AP scores? I took Comp Sci freshman year and got a 2 and a B in the class.

^ I doubt it. Pretty sure admission officers have better things to do than wonder why student X reported such-and-such AP score but didn’t report so-and-so AP score.

If you don’t feel comfortable with a score then don’t send it in. Like entomom said, you don’t have to turn in your official score report until after you decide to enroll. You can just pick and choose which scores you want to send.
