Is there as much drama in college as there is in high school? I'm not into much drama, I'm just curious.

Any replies = much appreciated.

No. There's still drama, but it's easier to find non-dramatic people if you know how to look for them, and people are a little more mature, so the drama is easier to deal with.

Just depends on who you hang out with. Sororities are bound to have more drama than normal clubs, activities, whatever. There might be dorm drama too. Just depends.

there's less drama b/c people don't have time for it...but it's def still there.

There was less drama in high school for me than there has ever been in college. Even middle school didn't have quite as much drama as college.

um, i don't think middle school is supposed to have more drama than college or high school.

I'm expecting more drama in college because I went to an all guys school, and the only time there was any drama was after we graduated, and that was just a stupid between two small groups of my friends.

If you join a fraternity/sorority, there will be drama, but it's worth it IMO.

Middle school is pretty generally considered to be the most dramatic. especially with girls.
I really hope it's a lot less drama in college.

Drama? that all depends.............. kiddo - hates drama - won't participate - roomy - thrives on drama - the more the better - you can guess what happened LOL - not even on speaking terms.

i certainly hope not. one of the main reasons im ready to get out of high school.

LOL! I love drama... and college is the place to find drama. HS was nothing compared to dorm drama. Dorm drama is especially fun if it's a coed floor/building. Hallcest! It's like incest but with hallmates. You can probably avoid drama easier in college but I tend to get involved in drama like it's my job.

i dont think there is....too many ppl here.

Middle school drama is young and cute when you look back at it. High school drama is lame and stupid. The drama in university is the type that can scar you for life.

Middle school drama (hell, I remember elementary school drama) was NOT cute.

I went to school with some very, very viscious girls.

I think some of the stuff that goes down when you're 12 and hugely vulnerable is likely to have a greater effect than silly drama that people in college should know better than to engage in anyways.

As a rising sophomore, I can say that college is as dramatic as you make it. In other words, as long as you stay out of dramatic issues in college, you shouldn't have to face any drama.

^congrats, u win this week's john madden award

There hasn't been much Drama for me at all. For the most part, people don't know a lot of the same people so Drama about who is dating who, or who likes who, or who broke up with who - yeah, it just isn't as interesting if you don't know all the people involved. There has been some Drama because I started dating a boy who happened to know almost all of the same people that I did (but we didn't know we knew the same people) so everyone that knew both of us were just like "Woah.. that's wierd, didn't expect that to happen" but that's about it.

god yes. I swear I thought college was going to be so much better in that sense but it so ISNT. Or maybe my friends are just a bunch of dramatics. Whichever. There was so much god damn drama this summer, it was ridiculous, and I thought it was just because people are bored in the summer and there's nothing to do so **** gets started for no reason because of boredom, but it has continued over into the fall semester now as well. I will admit I was part of it, but I was sort of halfway dragged into it, honestly.

Wow lol getting lots of different replies. So, from what I hear, college is as dramatic as you make it. I'll make sure not to have too much drama ;)
