Is this a challenging schedule for junior year?

Spanish IV Honors
AP United States History
AP Chemistry
Women’s Studies Honors
English 11 Honors
Pre-Calculus Honors
AP English Language

(To be clear, my school offers AP US History, AP European History, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP physics, AP Environmental Science, AP Statistics, and AP English Language to juniors. I figured that 3 AP classes would be enough to challenge myself, but not feel overwhelmed).

My freshman year schedule:
Spanish II Honors
AP Human Geography
Biology Honors
Childhood Development
English 9 Honors
Geometry Honors
Wellness

My sophomore year schedule:
Spanish III Honors
Pre-AP United States History
Chemistry Honors
Law/Forensics
English 10 H
Algebra II Honors
Digital Photography

No, I wouldnt say it would be challenging. 2-3 AP classes is pretty good for an academic achiever like yourself, I bet. As long as you stay ahead of your work and be prepared whats next, because AP classes go fast, you’ll do fine. B-)

It looks like a great schedule!

Why are you taking 2 English classes?

@snowfairy137 at my school it’s a requirement to take the grade level English course (Honors or CP), even if you’re taking an AP class.

I think it looks like a great rigorous schedule!

This isn’t really related (sorry) but I don’t know why schools have a Pre-AP United States History when American students learn American history in middle school.

Because what you learn in Middle school teaches you basic chronology, events, and values. The further along you go, the more complex connections and cause/consequence issues are brought up, as well as primary source analysis, etc.
You may well take US History 1877-present in college, too.

@davidyekwonkim I was not taught US history in middle school. Seventh grade was geography and eighth grade was world history up to the French Revolution.

BTW this is a strong schedule.

I’d drop women’s studies if I was you, and maybe take one of the easier APs like statistics or environmental science. What will your major be?
