Is this worth it? Extremely heavy workload to finish Breadth reqs?

I'm currently trying to finish my Breadth requirements for UC Berkeley (Haas, Biz Admin). I was unaware they even existed until recently (I'm dumb)

If I want to finish my breadth, I have to take 41 units in 2 quarters. I'm used to taking 2-3 classes a quarter (I took Summer classes and have AP credit), so jumping to 4-5 classes is huge to me.

I don't know if it's worth trying to finish the breadth requirements. My GPA is only a 3.30-3.40, and although I have a strong essay and EC's, I'm questioning if it's worth risking my GPA just for Berkeley. I can either try and finish the breadth, though I really don't know if I can handle such a intense workload. Or I can just play it safe and continue taking a comfortable amount of units

Should I bother?

are u applying for fall 2011? taking 20 or so units isn’t too bad. ur GPA is pretty low for haas, but u still have a chance to get in. from what i’ve seen from this forum, u can get into haas by having AMAZING grades with no ECs, or with AMAZING ECs with semi-mediocre grades. if ur essays/ECs are as good as u say it is, just raise ur GPA to 3.5-3.6 and u have a shot. if u can’t do that, dont bother

Oh my bad. I’m applying for Fall 2010, so I can’t really raise my GPA anymore
