so i was just searching for pics of the campus itself and i dont know if its just me...but from what i've seen, UCI looks like a pretty small campus, especially for being a UC. is it just my eyes or is it really that small? ive yet to visit the campus but it obviously has that circular design. so how big is this school? i plan on transferring there for civil engineering btw.

i went during spring brk for the incoming freshman thing i thought it was okay.. i thought it would be huge.. but maybe i didnt walk around the whole campus

From my experience, it isn't small but it also isn't large. There are a lot of buildings, but the fact that the school is designed in a circular fashion the furthest you'll have to walk is maybe 20 minutes (estimating). So the # buildings is large, but the design is effective for time.

In comparison UCSB may have slightly more buildings, but since it is spread out (not circular) the campus is larger and it will take (much) longer to get cross campus.

^ agree.. SD is prob even worse that place is HUGE
