Is UCI so much to ask?

Fine I will rephrase my point, UCI has great academic ability. The students are very hard working and are strongly motivated to be successful. Those are qualities that all you should be looking for in a school. But alot of people still think its prestigious.

Stop the arguing about which school is more prestigious. The little difference get you no where anyways. UCLA and Cal trumps all and the rest of the UC’s are pretty much even (except merced). A 4.0 from UCSD doesnt mean you have more opportunities than a person with a 4.0 at UCI. The only time one will have an upper hand over the other will be applying to local jobs around the school’s area. UCSD students will probably be preferred by employers around san diego while UCI students will probably be preferred by employers around irvine/OC. Other than that, its pretty much even everywhere even when applying to med school/b-school.

And a Cal or UCLA is not a Cambridge, Oxford or Harvard either. Any school is fine. The end.

^Pretty much that.

There’s always someone higher up on the totem pole. Learn to live with it.

^ Maybe if you’re a loser. I must go to the best school EVER.

Haha, I know you’re just being sarcastic, but there are people like that.

I hope they die old and alone.

Clearly these people have never heard of the University of AWESOME, which has a by-invitation-only applications system. You see, roughly one in 6.5 billions people are invited to apply each year. Once the application(s) has/ve been reviewed, the school has a 0% admission rate. So obviously this is the most exclusive and prestigious university in existence, making the UCI-UCSD debate a complete moot point, since they both absolutely pale in comparison to the divine glory of U of A.

I go to the School of Hard Knocks. Harvard, Cal, UCSD, etc don’t teach you how to push trees now do they.

^^^amen.

10chars.

FeeFee, I go to UofA … going to attend University of The Most Awesome Dude Ever for graduate school. Already got in. GO U-MAD!
