Hi, I was recently admitted to UCSC for Computer Science and was wondering if it was a good school for that major. I’ve done some research and heard the opportunities there are very good, but apart from that that’s all I’ve heard.
Yes, UCSC is a good school for Computer Science. CS is a very marketable major, so school name does not mean as much as what you do with the opportunities you are presented. UCSC’s location makes the Silicon Valley employers accessible for internships and later jobs so definitely worth considering.
What other schools are you considering? Compare the program curriculum’s to determine if UCSC’s program will meet your needs.
Best of luck.
Ok thank you so much for the information really helps out!
