I've decided to retake the SAT (2400 first time)...made a deal with mother

<p>background: senior, took sat in Novermber once and got a 2400 (yes I already got my scores back)</p>

<p>Yay! so my mom (lol) and I made a deal:</p>

<p>I can sign up for the SAT on Dec. 5th, and pay for the registration fee + test prep book fees with my own money</p>

<p>and when scores come out, 2410-2490 = mom refunds half (lol) of my money
2500 = mom refunds all of it (so excited)</p>

<p>i'm not crazy <em>lie</em>, I just wanna raise my math + cr scores</p>

<p>Sorry to steal this thread but I’m really freaking out. Do you think I have any chance at getting into Harvard. I know I have horrible SAT scores and ECs. Please help I’m so nervous!!!
SAT: 2400
ACT: 36
GPA: 95.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
SAT IIs: 800 in 5 subjects
ECs: Cured 5 diseases, founded/lead 10 nationally recognized non-profit organizations, published 30 papers, my dad is a teacher at Harvard and donated 30 million dollars, and I’ve been doing clam farts for 12 years.
Please help! I know I have no chance!! What can I do to make myself look better???</p>

<p>EC: I don’t have too much time on my ECs because I am the Chairman of People’s Republic of China. Still, I found 102 non-profit national orgnizaitions, discovered the law of gravity and wrote a book called the Lord of the Rings. Oh, by the way, I scored more than 30000 points in NBA.</p>

<p>Essay: Personally, I think my essay sucks. But I ask other people (Mark Twain, Victor Hugo…) to read it and they said it was the best piece of writing they v ever read. </p>

<p>Please help! I know I have no chance!! What can I do to make myself look better???</p>

<p>i feel bad bad for you guys. you have a long way to go with you studying if you want to have any chance at getting into a state college. in fact, my friend got rejected from UNC greensboro with a 2600. luckily, i was able to scratch by with a 3250.</p>

<p>^ Are you kidding? A 3250 will can’t get you into a community college even if you offer to pay ten times the tuition. Sorry man, tough luck.</p>
