"We are sorry that we will not be able to admit you to _________ for September 2008. We would, however, like to offer you a place in our Wait Pool. This pool consists of a group of young people who we believe are qualified to be members of the _________community but for whom we simply do not, at the moment, have room."</p>

<p>Or the money. The rest of the letter read cheerily enough, bit the verdict was the same, Ive been wait listed because I can't afford to pay my way through.</p>

<p>And it just plain sucks! I'm 100 perent positive that if I had the cash, they would have accepted me with open arms .They sat back and thought "She's A great fit for the school, but she'll cost us 100,000+ if she atend for 4 years, So lets go with that wealthy kid over there instead."</p>

<p>They CAN'T do that! I'm not some T-shirt at the mall, "This one's so cute, but It cost so much, Let's get the one that's 75%off." I'm a human being. </p>

<p>but nothing came of it because, at the end of the day, no matter how smart I am, no matter how well I write,or swim, it dosen't even matter that I

<p>dazzle, i feel for you. but sometimes the price of reaching is falling. you should keep reaching and not stoop to racialist labels. this is not the end of anything for you. it just means that your next win will taste that much sweeter. the alternative is to give up and you know that no effort means no results. suck up this loss, be a fighter and come out swinging even harder next time. last of all, do not ever stop praying. the right door will open for you if you believe in yourself.</p>

<p>Ugh...i know EXACTLY how you feel. I was waitlisted by Choate!!!!!
I'm bawling right now because I got accepted by Worcester Academy but they're putting me on the Finanacial Waitlist!!!! Now....let's see how long it's gonna take to wait for that....oh right...i don't have to wait because I'm never going to get any!</p>

<p>To be honest, we can contribute about 7000/year. My parent's income is about 17000/year</p>

<p>At least you still have a chance at Deerfield and Hotchkiss</p>

That would leave you with 10000 a year.
i don't understand how you would live off that.
