Ivy League Dreamer BUT A B!!!!!

I got a B in PE... now I am freaking out cause most people tell me this is really pathetic. I got this B as a direct result of being injured while playing a sport.

How much will this affect my chances? (Otherwise all A's :D)

None.

You’re missing the point. Your chances are really low, just like they would be if you didn’t get a B.

The only way we can chance any prospective applicant of getting into a hyper-competitive school is if:

1) the person’s parents donated tons of money to the school,
2) the person is an athletic recruit
3) the person has won some major awards like the IPO.

Otherwise your chances are very low, and will mostly come down to luck.

But to your intial freak out trigger – a single B will affect you as much as a gnat biting an elephant.

“Otherwise all A’s” Or is this some sort of humblebrag?

Don’t worry about replying. I read this: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1639301-chance-me-for-ivy-s-will-chance-back.html#latest

And know my answer. (cue eye role)

You know the answer to this question.

Humblebrag. Nice.

Most colleges do not even calculate PE grades as part of GPA.
