In my opinion:

UPenn

Cornell

Dartmouth

Princeton

Yale

Brown

Harvard

Columbia

Ecliptica- yea figured harvard would be on the low end... If you were suppose a state champion of NJ would that help for Princeton? or for Harvard?

Hey i kno this is kinda random but im a junior and i run track and i was just wondering around wat time for the 400m would interest eac Ivy league school.

It's pretty much rule of thumb for Division I schools that 49 and 1:55 are about where recruiting begins for 400/800 runners. Then again, it really depends on the school. A 51 could be good at Harvard where they had no guys under 51 last year. Really depends on what the school needs at the time.

State champion/any accolades help.

Ecliptica - when would the recruiting process begin? During your juniro year? how would it work?

ya a 49 would def b out of reach for me i think. A 51 tho, that is possible. This year time trials for indoor i ran a 54.7 for the 400m nd pretty much i got sick of track and skipped alot. So my time didnt go down but after getting 3rd at counties for the 42 i got my focus back and have been running hard. So im running the 44 and 4*2 at regionals and if i run good splits, i ll set my goals for outdoor and we ll c.

I believe they can't contact you until the July before going into senior year. You can always contact the coaches first though and let them know you're interested.

oh so it starts during the summer of your senior year?
