<p>Hello I am from the UK and am unaware of how I am expected to write a Transfer Essay in Common App for applications to Stanford Harvard and others.</p>
<p>In British Essays we have a blunt "Here is what I intend to explain" in the first paragraph and then go and explain it. </p>
<p>But it appears as if the American essays are far more descriptive.</p>
<p>Please can anyone provide examples?</p>

<p>Transfer Applications are quite different than freshman applications. Transfer application should be clear and concise (blunt, if you will).
