@Dreambbig I didn’t have my interview until 4/2 so a later interview doesn’t seem to mean much

@FinishingTheApp I will definitely be taking the survey! I’ve already accepted the decisions for JKCF, but I agree we need to get some data out there for future applicants.
I wanted to let you all know that I’ve heard back and was accepted by two colleges so far, and I received full scholarships to both. This isn’t a humble brag, rather, it’s for those worried about not getting the scholarship. If your income is low enough and you get into a UC or private school, you should be ok. They have amazing aid for poor students.
@RainbowBritey I read that the interviews aren’t related to application chances, but due to available alumni in your area. If you don’t get an interview or if you do from schools, it’s a non-issue.
But congrats on those who’ve heard back! I’m excited for everyone right now! It’s scholarship and transfer decision time, and I can’t believe this is finally happening!
I hope you all are looking forward to the next chapter in your lives, and I wish the very best for everyone not just on this thread currently, but to those in the future. To those of us who are non-traditional and have never given up on our education or ourselves, read this and know how amazing you are and how proud of yourself you should be!
Do you know if universities and Ivys accept late applications?
@sarra19 I saw a recent article on the main CC page listing colleges with late application dates, try searching for that? Which colleges had you already applied to? Are you having second thoughts about your choices? I believe that the JKCF have really good counselors to help with this sort of info too! ?
I started all my applications early, I finished some of them late even before I get the news that I am a JKC scholar. I sent some emails 3 days ago but didnt heard back.
@sarra Here is a list of colleges and universities that have later application deadlines. I will say though, they seem to get less and less selective as they go. So if you just didn’t apply anywhere, you might not end up in a top school. You might want to discuss this with the JKCF and see what they say. But, good luck and congratulations!
