the last one i used a matrix… don’t remember the exact answer tho

ugh damnit…u sure it said contained?

rohitsharma: sorry man but that’s wrong…it would have been the case if the angle’s opposite side was the distance, like this: http://allaboutairplanes.files.■■■■■■■■■■■■■/2011/06/image288.gif …however, the triangle on the test was upside down, such that the opposite side was height. trust me on this

Jhjun, Kaidan, good that’s what I put. :)

I had to skip last one, it wasn’t clicking and time was almost up so I thought it better to finish the ones I had left for later.

Kai and imaBOSS: This was the question: http://i.imgur.com/WEg6A.png

catcat18…damn you may be right about this one. if it did truly say contain, then (-3, 3) is the right answer…oh well, 1 wrong out of 50

Yes, I did, so I omitted that question. But the keyword was “contains”, not “is”, which I thought it said “is”, but it didn’t. The correct answer was (3, 3) because it contained the subset (2, 2), which was what I was looking for.

The question about the two airplanes…I think I put E for that answer, it was 5.xx.
It was 8/tan(theta) of the longer distance - 8/tan(theta) of the shorter distance. Please correct me if I’m wrong!

sema did u read confirmed too? it could be just in catcat’s head? lol

rohitsharma: dude i’m not gonna convince you what was the right answer…all i know is that the angle in the diagram was the complimentary of the angle in the picture you posted…meaning that the opposite side was height. you don’t have to believe me if you don’t want, but we’ll know come Feb 16…

Wait, really? It said contain??? But then wouldn’t (0,2) also work?

Well I omitted 3 on the test and now I missed 2 problems. This sucks :/

hkim, no because (0,2) doesn’t contain the negative values

and actually i got this one wrong too, but someone else told me the trick was the word contained

hkim unfortunately… it (0,2) doesnt contained ALL the solutions since its (-2,2)

what was the question for the last one?

Guys, wouldn’t the answer be (0,2)? If it’s (-3,3) then in that interval, -2.9 could fit in. The question was x^2 < 4 (I believe) and -2.9 won’t work.

wait if that was the case, then does (-4,7) also contain all the points. i remember that being one of the answer choices…

The chart, it was 3 people took 3 tests and each test has equal amount of points.
Each person had gotten a number amount of questions, test1,2,3 respectively,Person1 34 question right,15,9 and total177 points. Person2 had33,19,7 and 172 pts, and person 335,17,10, and189 pts. Find the amount of pts per question on test 2.

Then (-4,7) would be the wrong answer choice that doesn’t work in the equation.

imaBOSS u sure (-4,7) was in there?
