mine was double spaced, 1.5 pages for the 10$ essay, and about a page double spaced for the other one, i used th hopkins app. i guess the point isnt the length, but more like what u have to say. if u sit there and ramble on and on about some useless crap no one wants to knwo about...u'll make urself seem desperate and a bad writer. make sure u dont repeat anything tho, ahha i tried my best to not repeat the same thing in my essay.

my 10$ was long, several pages but i kept my others short...nguyent is right, the idea is convey your voice in the essays and give the reader a deeper sense of the "real" you

I think I made a mistake...I wanted to send the common app and then the supplement to JHU with the two essays. However I already gave my teachers the JHU teacher rec forms, not the common app. Will it look bad if I send in the common app without the correct teacher rec forms?

i dont see what harm that does?

check to see if the two are the same, does the JHU one and Common APP one ask the same questions?

I dont know. The admissions process is more humane than we make it out to be. I dont see any use in fretting over petty stuff like that.
