Join ALD/PES

I got an email saying I will probably get an invitation to Alpha Lamda Delta/Phi Eta Sigma this summer (I think I will with a 3.97 GPA). Im wondering if its actually worth joining this honor society. I've gotten the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, but I knew that one is BS, but this one seems actually legit and they have a campus location and all.

My major is ChemE, if it makes it mean more/less.

Thanks.

I joined Alpha Lambda Delta. I haven’t actually done anything with it yet since I was inducted at the end of freshman year, but I figured it’s worth it because you get a lifetime membership and an opportunity to get scholarships. Plus, it’s something nice to put on my resume. The induction ceremony was pretty legit, and I got a nice shirt lol. I’ll try to make the best out of it sophomore year by doing club activities.

idk about Phi Eta Sigma.

I find that most people join honor societies to be around others students and volunteer in their community.

I also have really high grades (3.96 GPA) but I decided to skip out on ALD because I am already a part of the honors program and I want to get involved with student organizations that revolve around my major.
