<p>What are the best schools for journalism? Columbia is an obtainable reach and Mizzou is a strong safety. What other schools offer strong programs in this field?</p>
<p>USC, Syracuse, UC Berkley, UNC Chapel Hill.</p>
<p>Are you looking at broadcast/print or in general media studies/communications/PR/Ad? They go under journalism too in a lot of schools.</p>
<p>Print. Never liked broadcast. Have high hopes for Columbia. Involved in lots of journalism and writing extra curriculars</p>
<p>UT-Austin also has a very strong, competitive journalism program.</p>
<p>Columbia has grad school journalism, not undergrad.</p>
<p>Northwestern, Ball State, American, Indiana, NYU, Ohio University, University of Florida, Boston University, and University of Maryland as well as those already mentioned all have top-notch programs.</p>
<p>I would study creative writing as an undergrad while being apart of the newspaper their in columbia. Northwestern is also a school I’d like to attend.</p>
