<p>This year’s essay prompt is:
Describe your career goals. What challenges, if any, have you had to overcome in order to pursue your goals or dreams? What makes you a strong candidate for JPL SpaceSHIP?</p>
<p>and I’m seriously confused. Should I write one coherent essay about a singular experience or should I view this as a 3 short answer kind of prompt? The word limit is 300 words for all 3 questions.</p>
<p>Personally I haven’t had many challenges. I mean I’ve had incompetent lab partners for my ap physics c class this year. My family is uhhh lets say not the best financially off, but I mean we’re I guess middle class. I’ve had some issues over the summer where we couldnt collect the data I needed for my research project at COSMOS, but they all seem really petty problems so idk what to do. </p>
<p>What do you think my chances of getting in are?
I have a 4.5 GPA. I have the most rigorous schedule at my school with 5 AP’s. I’m also First Chair Violist for school and various other orchestras. Last summer I spent at COSMOS (Ca summer school for math and science) learning about astronomy and astrophysics. I’m also on my Sciencebowl’s A team.
I’ve won Divisional Recognition for an international essay contest. </p>
<p>I have almost no background in programming except for 1 month where I used alot of LaTeX, and I also have no awards for math and physics (except like a couple math medals nothing major)</p>
