yeah for the bodhittsatvas i put saints

And those chronological order ones were horrible: About Songhay, Ghana, Mali and 4th Crusade, Justinian, fall of Constant. .. I had NO idea.

What was the one about Gandhi's spinning wheel? and the Meji Restoration one? and Peter the Great's opposing country? Was that Sweden and someplace else? and what started the Gulf War? Iraq invading Kuwait? and was there a Bismarck quote related to "blood, tears, etc"? and what was the one about Jewish Zionism? Was that irredentalism or nationalism? and the trading in Africa was Gold and Salt? and Camels increased communication through the Sahara? and why weren't the Ottoman reforms working? there was also one about the English Channel and a British quote on gaining dominance/imperialism.

Ok, I'll just stop rambling now

I think it went Justinian, 4th Crusade, Fall of C
the other one was Ghana, Mali, Songhai
It was Sweden and the Ottoman Empire
Iran invaded Kuwait
Nationalism for Jewish Zionism
Gold and Salt
Camels did increase communication
for the Ottoman reforms, I said something about it being top-down, and not appealing to grass roots, but idk if it's right...

It was Hinduism. You can't become a Hindu, if you're not born a Hindu.

wait camels replaced elephants and i put the unpopularness of the reforms for the ottoman thing. And I put priests for the bodhittsatvas.... Did anyone else get this?

bodhisattva was definitely saints

The Persian empire one was elected assemblies for voting.

The least missionary focused was definitely Hinduism.

Bodhisattvas were Buddhist people who had achieved enlightenment but decided not to achieve nirvana yet so they could help others. I put saints - these are especially holy people in Christianity. Catholics specifically pray to saints for guidance in life, so that's pretty similar.

what is the meiji restoration one?

persian empire didn't have a representative legislature

I think it was they had parliament modeled after the British one.

what did u put for the one with picasso's drawing...? man, I should've studied !!!

i put the one about the spanish civil war with german bombings or something. i think picasso had a lot of paintings related to the spanish wars but i'm not sure

The painting is Guernica. It was about the spanish bombings.

what can you get by omitting 5 or 6 questions ( i dont remember exactly) and getting like 13~15 wrong??

That's probably about a 740-780.

Why was the Grand Canal built? Was it for flood control, or to stimulate trade b/w north and south China??

i put flood control

I put for trade. It really seems a bit excessive to build a canal that long (over 1,000 miles IIRC) for flood control.

yea but how could that fac ilitate trade between the noirth and south ones??? that makes absolutely no sense

LOok at this website: Geography: China: Arteries of the Empire

The Grand Canal facilitated trade between the Yangtze and the Yellow River (or was it Huang He). I remember reading that in my text book.

but how would it do that??? they're not even connected.
