Does any1 know the LAST reasoning question where it gave two containers with Argon gas at diff volumes. Was it FF?

the answer to that was 3.0, i think. I know it was either D or E, the one with only 2 significant figures since the mass was given in only 2 sig figs

argon gas was F F

It was D with 3.0

Can anyone elaborate on the last T/F, the one with Argon gas?

How about the the one where it asks Zinc is a better conductor than phosphorus BECAUSE Zinc has twice as many electrons.

I put TT because a lot of other nonmetals(dont conduct electricity) have more electorns than Zinc.

I also said TT...but not CE

Yeah but they don't have TWICE as much!!!!!

15 and 30....

it does have twice as much...

part b theres this question about either H20 or H2S (hyrdogen sulfide) being more polar/more dense/ or something i forgot. wats the answer?

I. False
II. True

Do you remember the exact wording of the argon gas problem?>

it was boiling pt,
i put TT but not CE because the reason is hydrogen bonding not a lower molecular mass.

Zinc does have twice as much because it has 30 protons and 30 electrons and P has 15 protons and 15 electrons.

^exactmente..

the argon was about average speed of molecules i think
same pressure same temp 2 different containers
one 1L one 2L
i don't remember if it was same moles though
i want to say they had the same speed according to my stressed 30second logic in the test

you remember that one with unknown metal M
formula M3N
.28 grams N

anyone know the answer?

Argon problem

2 containers are at standard temp. One(1) has twice the volume as the 2nd.

Container 1 has greater pressure than container 2 BECAUSE the molecules in container 1 are moving faster than the ones in container 2

FF becuz Volume is inversely related with pressure and temp only determines how fast the molecules move.

mdell, that was 1/3 i skipped

for the M3N i got 7.0 g for the Molar mass of the metal

Hey are we allowed to talk about these questions? The moderator of my test read something specifically about no internet discussions. IDK i dont wana get in trouble so just wondering? Is this allowed by college board
