June 2009 SAT Math

May was harder imo. I also got a 650 and this one I think I got a 720+ so…

For all you guys that got 1 wrong theres hope for an 800. In May I got-1 800.

ok i remember that we had a big triangle and tree lines that bisected each angle. I made one assumption to solve this problem That is that there were pairs of triangles. in other words the 6 little triangles inside all had another triangle identical to it which was caused by the bisection. I that assumption correct? Pretty sure it is

May was harder. :x

It’s 65. You needed to use the smaller triangles where it bisects to get some of the angles. At first I had made an assumption, as I’m sure many did, that several 90 degrees were there, but after reworking it I found them to be 95 degrees changing my answer from 60 to 65

Here’s the diagram. I believe that m(BCA) = 60, m(ABC) = 50, and each line segment bisects its respective angle. Find x.

can anyone label the values given in the diagram? BTW i did exactly what you did but using other numerical values but basically the same methodology

we were given angles for A and B right? what were their values? haha I forgot the numbers but i still remember how i did it.

I thought angle c was 60 and angle a was 50?

is mr california correct with his memory? does anyone remember does values?

I think angle A was 60 and Angle C was 50 (so angle B 70)

based on the information given I got 60 >_>

apple1984, u got the pic right but u got the angles wrong, thats why

awesome another person on our side :)

No the vaules are correct, but im also pretty sure about which angle they corresponded to is also correct…i could be wrong though.

ruthless can you please tell me what the angles are based on apple’s diagram?

my attempt at solving it, I got 60. Feel free to point out my mistakes

I really think Angle C is 50, and Angle A is 60 (meaning Angle B is 70)

I can’t remember how I did this one… but I think I put 65…

eg2333, thats what i got
fernie, i got 60 according to those values, but im not sure about the angles.
I was gonna upload pic but eg already did
