I put ancestor worship for Zhou, iron tools for natives (why they got steam rolled by small numbers of Europeans), and Ghandi used it so promote self sufficiency.

Why did the economy fall in the 80s? Was it because of OPEC???

Why did the economy fall in the 80s? Was it because of OPEC???

^Same!

Only 50 more to go!

As for the Sepoy Mutiny one, I think it was actually the end of rule by the BEIC, so the answer was how they expelled the British or something? A more immediate consequence than long term, since the British returned and India fell directly under the control of the crown.

I got that answer for 42
to try to prevent future conflicts for 43
and 45 is tianenmen. the phillippine one exiled the president.

^Added for the time being! I agree with them, but if there’s a majority to the contrary we can edit later.

That reminds me, was there a question about Corazon Aquino? My memory might be jumbling with practice tests. >_<

What do y’all think the curve was going to be?

I heard that the curve for this test is usually around 19 questions?

I’m not sure though.

More like -16 raw score, meaning less if you’re getting them wrong instead of omitting.

Yeah. I just found a table. And getting ~78 points is an 800.

People are thinking this test was harder, though. Does that mean an even more lenient curve?

Maybe. But keep in mind that this test is given twice a year and that people always think that an exam was harder, ironically.

It might fluctuate a bit, but unlike SATI we don’t get a nice neat score report so we’ll never know for sure…I doubt the 800 mark will suddenly shoot up to 20 or anything, though.

the one about shipping and telecommunications was the globalization of cheap production overseas to poorer nations or something.

^I remember the answer had the word “multinational” in it. Not much else.

I felt the most industrialized place in the high middle ages was Spain, I mean while the rest of Europe suffered from the decline of Rome, Greco-Roman culture was preserved by the Islamic Empire in Spain giving rise to Cordoba. Wasn’t Spain the most prosperous European nation as the kingdom of Granada?
I went with religious proselytism (attempt to convert) cause in the letter, the Congolese king complained about “excessive freedom.” Also, slavery in Congo was basically done by the Portuguese.
Too much guesswork in this test, but hoping for a 800, fingers crossed

I put Spain too! And for the sepoy rebellion it was India and britian ruled together, like the Indian national congress was set up and stuff. By for the Congo king, I’m pretty sure it was about the slave trade. This test was just ugh :(

The most industrialized place was Northern Italy. That was partly why the Renaissance was able to begin there- because of the urban environment there. Plus, the High Middle Ages refer to the period between 1000-1300, and the last emperor of the Western portion of the Roman empire was deposed of in the fifth century.

The King of Congo was complaining about the “excessive freedom” of the Portugese in getting themselves involved in the slave trade. The 1500s was when the Portugese expanded and started to do so.

The natives did have long distance trade (if that’s what you’re referring to). That’s how maize was spread to North America.

I had a question before, but noone answered-
I’m certain that I did really poorly on this test-- but there’s no point in cancelling, is there? because I can just not send the score, right (let’s say i have 2 other ones to send)?

thanks!

Well, Score Choice works, and then you have to consider that the next time you can take this exam will be in December-- you might as well stick with it.

^^^ wasn’t Northern Italy like above the Po River, where nothing was? Just my classification of Northern Italy…
