I thought it was harder than the official CB book test.

Maybe a good curve?

I thought it was harder than the official CB book test.

Maybe a good curve?

I thought the test was very similar to the Barron’s; in fact, some of the questions from Barron’s practice tests had appeared on it. I think it wasn’t hard or easy: just medium.
Now I take a nap :)

I sure hope so. I had a bit of trouble pacing myself. It took more time for me to answer questions than when I did practice tests.

Is embargo lifted yet?

I actually thought it was a bit easier than US, which I studied for much much more.

Only one question I didn’t know…

Last question: A? (tiananmen square?)

i put that too

^ Yep, that’s what I put. Location with the greatest number of pastoral nomads between 1200-1500 CE? I put sub-Saharan Africa, total guess hahaha.

I put South East Asia. Probably wrong.

Which was the financial center of Europe during the seventeenth century?
(a) Amsterdam
(b) Lisbon
(c) London
(d) Madrid
(e) Paris

I thought Tiananmen square resulted in imposed economic sanctions and arms embargoes against China which means there was a large reaction to it. Didnt the question ask which one had the least result?

A, Amsterdam. Just googled.

Edit: @Vicimus, I’m not sure but I think the question asked for which had the least result reform-wise, as in impacting the government to change its policies?

There was a question about what type of people came most to the Americas between 1500 -1800 (or something like that). Was it Western Europeans or Africans?

do you guys think there will be a good curve?

Just took it.

Now I am busy goggling/checking answers while my memory is still fresh ( I can remember 3/4 of the questions). I skipped 3, not sure exactly how many questions I did wrong. I think I may get >750.

I am a freshman, and I am glad that I started earlier (bunch of juniors were taking 2 to 3 SAT IIs today).

I made so many stupid mistakes… I took world history last year, AP Gov this year so I forgot a lot of material… In the past 2 weeks I’ve been trying to relearn it all via Kaplans Guide and Google. I am depress.

@horusb: I put Western Europeans but totally forgot about the African slave trade until you mentioned it. XD Now that I think about it, it would be Africans because of the tremendous amount of labor needed and the high mortality rate of working on the plantations.

I put Western Europeans.

I put Balkans for pastoral nomads. Im not exactly sure where or what the Balkans are, but the rest seemed wrong?

Balkans are south-east European countries like Macedony, Albany, Montenegro, Serbia etc.

Nomadic pastoralism was Sub-Saharan Africa since it was widespread in areas with harsh climates.
