well, I've got around 2100 on my prac sat, but I really don't feel like memorizing the vocab.

I looked over a prac ACT, the english was pretty easy, as goes for math.

but the reading looked difficult because I have much shorter time to do them in contrast to the SATs.

Can my ACT successors please tell me how to prepare for the ACT reading and science please =)

btw, I found out that science is not really science, its more like, interpretation skills.

Just whatever you do, don't waste time reading all the information they give you for the science section. You don't need it. Mostly you just have to be able to read the graphs. If you try to understand all the science in the test you'll run out of time.

Also, make sure none of your schools will require the SAT. Some don't accept ACT scores, though most do, and some require ACT with writing.

I thought the ACT reading (and the ACT in general) was easier than the SAT. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Do both in my opinion.

ok thanks a lot :D

yeah and my colleges/univ. of interests accept ACTs

To practice for the ACT reading:

I got a 32 on reading the first time I took the ACT (june of jr. year), after having taken the SAT twice and getting 660 as my highest reading score. Then in my senior AP english class we do these really hard reading comp. packets once a week called WordMasters, and I think they definitely helped. I got a 36 on reading when I retook the ACT in Oct!

I studied for the SAT only and found that it prepared me well for the ACT. You should have no problem switching.
