I don't read at all and I got an 80 PSAT CR and 760 SAT CR.

Anyway, I went up:
PSAT:
Math - 80
Critical Reading - 80
Writing - 68

SAT:
Math - 780
Critical Reading - 760
Writing - 800

Anyway, I went up:
PSAT:
Math - 80
Critical Reading - 80
Writing - 68

SAT:
Math - 780
Critical Reading - 760
Writing - 800

Junior Year PSAT:
CR-71
M-69
W-72
1400/1600 and 2120/2400

May SAT
CR-730 (+20)
M-780 (+90)
W-800 (+80)

1510/1600 (+110) and 2310/2400 (+190)

I definately prepared and studied a decent amount over a 2-3 month period (would spend about 1-2 hours per week doing practice problems) for the SAT as opposed to my non-preparation for the PSAT, but I also was just plain weak during the PSAT (forgot calculator, made dumb mistakes overall etc)...I also think that the addition of the Writing essay in the actual SAT bettered my chances.

Worse but still not bad.
PSAT: 220
CR: 79
M: 65
W: 76

SAT: 2150
CR: 720
M: 690
W: 740

A little better... PSAT is 212, 75 math, 68 critical reading 69 writing

real SAT even with a little more preparation: 2140, 750 math, 670 critical reading, 720 writing

a lot better

PSAT: 186
CR - 56
M - 67
W - 63

SAT: 2200
CR - 670
M - 750
W - 780

After superscoring three sittings of the SAT, my score is better. I did not however achieve the same score or better in a single sitting.

PSAT: 223
CR: 70
M: 80
W:73

SAT I: 2150
CR: 690
M: 680 (scared the crap out of me)
W: 780

SATI SITTING TWO: 2150 (freaky, right?)
CR: 700
M: 720
W: 730

SAT I SITTING THREE: 2200
CR: 690
M: 780
W: 730

SUPERSCORED: 2260
CR: 700
M: 780
W: 780

So eventually I surpassed my PSAT score. I didn't think the math score would change so much.

Better

Psat: 1750
Sat: 1850

better,
PSAT 169
SAT 1890

A lot better! Well it's probably cause I took a prep class in January. :P

PSAT - 166
CR 650
M 500
W 510

SAT - 1900
CR 680
M 610
W 610

I was really hoping for a 700 in CR, grr, but I'm happy that I broke 600 for math. :D

Better. If I converted my PSAT to an SAT score, then my real SAT score would be 100 points higher.

I think I might have done better on the PSAT if I'd studied a little. I went in pretty blindly but will probably still get NMSF. Still hoping to up my SAT score.

PSAT (Junior): 216
CR 71
MA 69
WR 76

SAT (March): 2130
CR 680
MA 720
WR 730

SAT (May): 2240
CR 800
MA 720
WR 720

Dang! Made smart! how'd you improve your CR score? Cause I got a 680 too, and 800 would be a dream, lol cause my math sucks.

I honestly have no idea. I bought a prep book, neglected it, skimmed the pages on CR right before the test (like that morning before I left) and it gave some suggestions (if you can narrow it down to two or three, guess for sure, read every answer carefully, the SAT is never too judgemental or extreme) and I just went with gut instinct and gave the most logical guesses I could.

I did not feel any better about how I did on the test the second time around. I just got lucky, I guess. I took the test again entirely because I wanted to improve CR, so I'm pretty happy right now.

Kind of a weird situation: 222-->2200-->2360. And Boone, I completely empathize. I think I just got lucky, too.

Slightly better, actually.

PSAT: 199
M - 58
CR - 70
W - 71

SAT: 2020
M - 670
CR - 720
W - 630?! 8 Essay?! SERIOUSLY?! :( (WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY?!)

Mine improved. PSAT:197 SAT:2070

Improved.

PSAT: 230
SAT: 2330

But basically the same.

Much better on SAT than PSAT:

PSAT: 219
SAT May 08: 2270

An online etymology course sounds like good advice for my daughter, a sophomore. Thanks! What college do you hope to attend?

PSAT, junior year: 180
SAT, junior year: 1970

I didnt really study much, just one or two practice tests.
