just accepted off the waitlist

I didn’t turn in my housing forms by May 1st lol it’s okay. Well actually… I submitted it online but I’m mailing in the parent signature form today >.<. It also says I can edit my forms until the end of May, so I can guarantee you guys will be fine :D. I wouldn’t be surprised if you guys got your forms in before a lot of the people who were accepted RD.

Rainbowrose: what did you mean by parent’s signature form? We applied for housing online, which was encouraged, and sent in deposit. The website says everything is submitted except for final grades. We did not apply for financial aid if the parent’s signature form relates to that. Thanks.

If you’re under 18, you need to print out your questionnaire and the printout will have a line for “parent signature.” If you’re 18 or older, don’t worry about it.

Thanks! S is 18 so that explains it.

Is the waitlist still active?

im curious as well…when is the last couple days they will take kids off the waitlist?

Any international student get off waitlist?

Hahah… johnson2015… you and I are internationals still waiting :)

^ mee too!

I’ve noticed on all the waitlist threads for WashU… us three always ask about internationals :p… so any news yet guys?

Our son was accepted to Olin off the waitlist last tuesday May 3rd.

Have there been any calls this week so far?

Are the spots all full ? Will they be taking anymore student? :(

As people decline spots, they move to other people. There might be multiple waves of waitlist acceptances, or just one (depending on # of people that accept). Theoretically they could still accept people through July.

Hope there are still spots available…

Are they doing it case by case… or taking a bunch of kids assessing them and telling them, and doing another bunch?

i e-mailed them yesterday:

“We understand your concerns about the waitlist. At this time, we are continuing to evaluate the number of spaces that are available in the incoming freshman class. We will notify all applicants who have chosen to be on the waitlist of their status no later than June 30th. However, we do try to notify students earlier if a decision has been made.”

so i guess all we can do now is wait
good luck everyone!

Good luck to everyone too :)

Has anyone been accepted since May 4th or 5th?

I’d imagine it’d go in 2-3 week cycles…one week for the student to inform the school, couple days for school to process, and couple days for them to inform next on list.

It’ll be in phases, so even if they haven’t let anyone know in last 10 days, doesn’t mean it’s over.
