Just curious for those who got into engineering

<p>I recently came upon a few emails in my email account. They were from the Jacobs School of Engineering. The school has been sending me emails about admission, opportunities, and projects since Feburary. Even now, it still sends me email after I’ve been accepted into Bioengineering at UCSD. So this got me curious, even though it says the email does not constitute or guarantee admission to UCSD, is there anyone who recieved the email and did not get into engineering?</p>

<p>This might help prospective applicants in learning about their admissions earlier.</p>

<p>I got into BioE and I've been receiving e-mails from Jacobs as well. The most recent one I received was dated April 21 and title was "Hope to see you at Jacobs Fall 2006" or something along those lines.</p>

<p>sprezzatura986, that's what got me curious in the first place. I almost thought I had submitted the UCSD SIR. Then I began to actually read those letters.</p>
