nevermind. there is a link for submitting documents electronically. They should have really elaborated on that in their other materials. i almost missed it on their site.

Ahhh! I haven’t done mine yet! Can you post a link?

[Incoming Students](http://www.finaid.cornell.edu/apply/index.cfm)

Seems a lot of us had a little heart attack when we saw this deadline.

Cornell really needs to make the materials on its website more accessible. I spent forever looking for that electronic submissions form.

Ah, I can’t open the PDF file because it says I need to update Adobe or something…but can anyone please post the link to the electronic submissions form?

[Upload Form](http://www.finaid.cornell.edu/forms/uploads.cfm)
so you complete the pdfs, then upload them.
Thank god, or i would have had to mail them and hope they got there.

yeah i was like wooaahh, did not know about that. im applying to so many schools that i just completely missed that deadline.
Also, i spent almost twenty minutes looking for that link. their website is all over the place. There is not even a financial aid link on their undergraduate admissions page!

My son is applying to 12 colleges and it is overwhelming. Filled out the PDF and couldn’t figure out how to submit. Just saw your post on upload. Good luck everyone. It is hard trying to keep everything sorted out. Don’t forget to send copies of 2008 tax forms by mail. We are going to 2 day them tomorrow.

OMG the FA forms are due on Jan 2nd???!!!

yeah, jan 2nd. every other college has a deadline of mid febuary or early march. i had to go check all of my other colleges deadlines after i realized cornells deadline was only a few days away, i was so worried i would miss another.
yeah im applying to 10, getting everything in there is a hassle. i did everything in bulk. i gave my counselor ten reports she had to mail, ordered all my scores, ordered all ten transcripts, and gave each ten recommendations to do. i gave them a long time to complete everything, but i postponed financial aid.

Wait is this deadline for ED or Reg Action?

Regular decision forms are due January 2.

^Regular:(

I think you can print out a copy of all the deadlines and stuff on the collegeboard website… just add the colleges to your “college list” and print “My Calendar”.

Oh lord stupid Cornell doing it so early… time to get my parents on that haha

Does this apply to only those students who got accepted through EA? Or do prospective RD students have to meet this deadline too?

Do RD students have to meet this deadline too?

Yes, I think this deadline is for RD students, not for those accepted ED.

I just checked. The FA deadline for ED students was in November.

Yeah it’s for RD-ers. I wouldn’t really freak out if you can’t get it in by January 2nd though because Jan 2nd is a Saturday… they are not even there until the 4th which is a Monday. Plus, think about how much mail they are going to have to sort through… it will take them like a week to go through, sort, and label all of that mail. Just try to get all of the stuff in by the end of the week of Jan 4th. =]

PS: Oh but submit the CSS Profile before Jan 5th, otherwise, it will mark you as missing the “priority” deadline.
