[Regular Decision](http://www.finaid.cornell.edu/deadlines/regulardecision.cfm)
The deadlines listed exist in order to provide you with a timely notification of your aid decision. Applications received after the deadline will be considered for all forms of financial aid, on a funds available basis.

They’ll still accept applications after the deadline.

If the student (me) doesn’t file tax returns, do I need to attach a ltter saying that I don’t have tax returns?

I don’t think you need a letter if you don’t file tax returns as a student.

Cornell’s financial aid server is down and their email is full, so I’m going to mail on Monday. :|

This is ridiculous… well it’s obviously not going to happen for me tonight. Oh well.

I almost had a heart attack reading this thread though. XD

God, I just found out, right after I finished and was pretty darn satisfied with my essay for them. So p.o.ed

And the post office closed at 1 pm today. An hour before I woke up so…

I’m just gonna have to ship it next day come Monday and hope for the best.

@EMACHINED: Don’t worry about it haha. Mine will get there… umm… hopefully Monday, realistically Wed or Thurs lol.

I sent mine electronically. It wasn’t that bad.

does cornell have its own financial aid form? if i already sent in my css profile and all the tax forms do i have to send that in as well?

yeah i was annoyed. my procrastination led to me submitting my cornell application at the last minute. and then i thought i could relax so i checked all my applied school’s financial aid deadlines to make sure i was on top of everything. the first one i checked was cornell’s. imagine the shock of basically missing the deadline for financial aid when i thought i was done for a while(i looked at other schools later worried if i had missed their deadlines too. nope. next earliest one is in a month :[)

oh well. i guess ill just try to submit the financial aid as soon as possible and hope for the best =/

has anyone ever submitted the financial aid after the deadline and still got financial aid package?

Omg r u serious why is it this earlier. Other schools have like 2 more motnhs. This is a joke right

What if I submit this January 15th… omg. My guidance counselor said don’t worry about financial stuff until after January. We’re having an afterschool meeting Thursday with everyone and parents to talk abotu fafsa and profile. Damn it.

ARE WE SCREWED? How long does it take to fill out FAFSA and CSS PROFILE? That’s all we have to fill out right?

i just did it. took id say like an hour or two for my mom and i to fill it out.

but no you also have to fill out cornell’s financial aid form and send them your parents/your tax returns and w-2s

i dont know if i should wait for monday to mail the tax returns or if i should use the upload form and send them all. anyone know?

I’m definitely going to be late with those forms… I just found out ten minutes ago.

I’m in the same boat as a lot of you guys. Found out deadline was today this morning. I got everything in on time except I can only mail in the tax returns and W-2’s on monday. Oh wells.

I think someone mentioned earlier in this thread that tax returns can be scanned.

If everyone would just go to this webpage:
[Incoming Students](http://www.finaid.cornell.edu/apply/)

and follow the instructions, you will know when to do what.
