We visited on Friday 3/23. A wonderful time. Admission rep mentioned the RD letters were sent out that morning, so should be well on the way.
@TeddyAzzz thanks for the update. Sounds as if they have not been mailed- hope they go out tomorrow ( going to check Twitter as they usually post when they have mailed) this wait is long!!!
Hmmmm… I was contacted by the dean of admissions and we had a conversation, he mentioned that they were mailed on the 23rd!
“They will be going out via post mail, so we cannot predict exactly when they will land, and some folks closer to our campus mailing address might get them the day before other students who live further away. But, they are slated to go in the mail tomorrow, so I would imagine they’ll be landing early-middle of next week.”
Hope they went out on Friday! Best wishes as everyone gets their final decisions!
According to Lafayette College Admissions’ Facebook page, regular decision letters were mailed out on Saturday morning, March 24. Some of you who live nearby should be getting your decision as soon as tomorrow. Good luck!

What about the international applicants?
When will we get the email?
@pfdgjb, the Facebook post did not reference international applicants. You might check the LC Admissions page but I don’t recall anything specific to international candaidates. Good luck to you.
Do they notify through the portal or only usps letter?
Ut oh. I see it in our USPS informed delivery for today. But its definitely a small envelope.
wait did you get the letter?
DD got a small envelope today as well. It was a reach for her so she’s expecting it.
Also see a small letter waiting to be delivered. No real graphics on the front other name admission’s return address… Can’t imagine it’s good news for $0.47 worth of postage.
Small envelope here in NYC
Nothing here…MA
Small envelope in informed delivery - MD
@acceptedman The Post office has a feature where you see scanned images of upcoming mail. So didn’t receive it yet , but see image of envelope online.
where does everyone live that see the envelope?
i don’t see one here in nj
Question about informed delivery… do you see the envelope when it’s originally scanned for mailing or when it hits your local postal office? I signed up for it several days ago but I’ve seen nothing from anyone.
Lafayette is need aware and we have a decent amount of need. I’m not hopeful due to that.
