LAST MINUTE quick question

So I am about to send my transfer application for marshall(going in as a sophomore) . My SAT from high school is low so I was thinking about leaving that field blank on the application and then retaking it over the next couple of months and then sending it in with the new score. What would be best? Can I do this?

THANKS

I always suggest presenting yourself in the best light possible. If you feel your application stands better without your current SAT, don’t send it. (And don’t worry too much about the more than/less than 30 units debate - just present your best application.) As for re-taking the SAT, be aware that they will consider the fact that you’ll have a half-year-to-a-year of college under your belt when you re-take as opposed to scores submitted from when most applicants were juniors in high school. (In other words, a 2000 from a college student is not quite the same as a 2000 from a high-school junior.)

Good luck!!!

ok thank you… that helps… think i’ll send it without… the score was only 1600
