Late entry, how will dorms be?

I just realized that I never sent in my 25 dollar deposit for the "wait" line for dorms. I sent it as of.... maybe two or three weeks ago so I was just wondering what kind of dorms will be available? I'm not looking for the best ones at this time, but at least one with A/C lol

With it being this late, most likely you will end up with a permenant triple or a non-A/C dorm. And that’s even if you get a dorm. It also possible that you might get something else, since people cancel last minute and stuff.

Here is the 08-09 priority data stats: [UF Department of Housing and Residence Education Undergraduate Assignments - INCOMING STUDENTS: What is a good Housing Application Date for Fall 2009?](http://ufhousing-incoming.blogspot.com/2009/04/what-is-good-housing-application-date.html)

^ Yeah i turned in mine housing application in mid march too. The waitlist is pretty long and even if you were to get on-campus housing, it’d be may at the earliest. By that time, good off-campus housing might be booked. I’d go find off-campus housing now.

I was put on the waitlist too, but I’m pretty sure that I’ll be living off-campus after looking at some figures.

This is the blog for waitlisted students and has updates on the status of housing. The last post said that the earliest we would know if we didn’t already have a housing contract would be May, and chances are still slim: [UF Department of Housing and Residence Education Undergraduate Assignments - FRESHMEN WAITING LIST](http://ufhousing-wtl.blogspot.com/)

I’d start the apartment hunt if you haven’t already…

^ I’ll start looking into apartments then.
Also, today was the last day for my contract… and I am kind of short on paying it. Will they definitely invalidate my housing? Or should I call them and explain my current predicament?
