I messed up my schedule a little bit but apparently there is a late registration period in January, so does anyone have any idea what kind of classes are available at this time? Are there any good teachers left?

Thanks

Are you currently attending UT this semester? If so, it’s exactly like the “late registration” that opened up a few days before the fall semester.

There’s actually plenty of opportunity to change your schedule - a lot of people don’t pay their tuition on time, and are automatically dropped from all their classes. I actually ended up changing almost my entire schedule during the last drop/add period, and got into a lot of classes that were closed before my “normal” registration period opened.

So don’t worry! You’ll probably be able to rearrange at least a few classes to your liking.

Thanks classywire, yes I am a current UT student but I am unfamiliar with late registration. Is it just like registering normally? Will I see open classes and simply enroll or does it require some kind of special talent to get classes? I’m just looking to drop one class and replace it with RHE 306, it doesn’t seem like that would be too big of a deal… I’m not currently on any waitlists at all so during late registration will all the students on waitlists take all my spots?

Sorry for the deluge of questions but I am anxious and oblivious

Yes, it’s exactly like normal registration. I just looked online, and there’s quite a few RHE306 classes open - so, you shouldn’t have any trouble getting in. The only classes that will give priority to waitlisted students are the ones listed as “waitlisted.” If it’s listed as “open,” you can just sign up for it as usual.
