Let's play a prediction game,shall we?

Okay, now that we are facing RD round after ED, I think it's gonna be more interesting to predict one's results of admission. After seeing similar threads and noting the accuracy of the general opinion on the CC forum, I'll start with my own. Here is my general profile, and I wonder if you can give any comments and make your predictions over my school list:

No APs in Chinese schools, but the courses are equally difficult as or even harder than APs
(Chinese, math, physics, chemistry, biology roughly equal to US APs; I followed the science curricula, so history, geology, politics are all electives.Everyone in China follows one same gaokao-oriented curriculum, so there are no choices of classes)

For the sake of demonstration, please present your views in the following forms:

e.g. Upenn - accepted, Cornell - accepted but no FA, Rice - waitlisted, etc. (I'm not necessarily applying to those schools, but used these schools only as examples of demonstrations)

Please give your comments/predictions on my following school list:
Amherst (Deferred ED)
Baylor - already accepted with some merit
Uchicago (Deferred EA,applying for merit scholarships only; do I have any chances at these schools?)

HYPM (lol,high reach I know;should I even try those?)
Dartmouth, Cornell, Columbia, Brown, WUSTL(applying for merit scholarships only)
Williams, Swarthmore, Carleton, Davidson(applied for merit+FA), Wash & Lee(applied for merit+FA),Vassar, Colby, Hamilton, Kenyon, Trinity(BTW,can ED II at one of the schools above boost my chances of admissions?)

and give me some recommendations if possible.Thank you very much!

I seriously think you should apply to HYPM schools. I think you have a good chance of getting accepted, considering your amazing SAT scores and unique ECAs. Just because your GPA is 3.8, it doesnt mean you wont get in. Also, I seriously think your recs and essay play a huge role in your acceptance.
Anyways, about your ECAs - I think they are unique. Not MANY people have activities like you do and your awards are great too.
As far as I know, ivy schools want students to have a wow factor in their applications.
I know people who have the best SAT scores (2300 - 2400) and 4.0 GPA and AMAZING leadership activities - and they still didnt get in. So I think your overall resume is amazing to look at and i think admission officers will recognize that too.

Its sooo annoying to see people who think that - just because someone has a relatively low GPA or SAT score, that person has NO CHANCE at getting in to harvard or princeton.

If you could make an admission officer cry with your personal statement, I guarantee you will get in to whichever university. It all really depends on what sort of admission officer you get.

Anyways, I hope I gave u the feedback you wanted.

When it comes to the super reach schools, I think you have just as good a chance as any other highly qualified international applicant. You could be accepted into HYPM, but it’s just tough to say; you’re in an incredibly competitive pool of kids.

You’ll definitely be accepted by at least one of the liberal arts colleges you’ve applied into, particularly at places like Colby, Davidson and Vassar, but if financial aid doesn’t work out through them, you’re already safe at Baylor (which is a really good school for pre-med).

You definitely seem like a smart, worthwhile applicant. I wish you the best of luck. :)
