My daughter recently had an off campus alumni interview. The interview went well (based on her opinion and what the alum told her). We visited Hamilton, but she didn’t interview at the time. I’ve been reading on here about applicants receiving very personalized letters following an interview. My daughter received a letter, but it wasn’t at all personalized-- said they received the report from the interview and would add it to the file. Is this is necessarily negative or is this just because she didn’t interview with a staff member? Thanks.
The staff really can’t write her a personalized letter regarding the interview since their involvement was indirect. Basically, they seem to have just kept matters honest. The interview report itself will be valued nonetheless. I’m glad things went well.
