My D was named a NMSF and just received her scholarship letter offering her the Presidential Scholarship. Should she notify someone at Bama that she is a semi finalist? Or will they know when she designates UA as her first choice through National Merit? I understand they will not offer her the NMF scholarship unless/until she is named a finalist.

UA will be notified that she lists them as #1. And good luck making it to NMF!
