Likely Emails

I got a likely email today from Columbia. Has anyone else received one?

i received one today from FU Engineering. Wonder how high our "likely" chances are.

=( didn't get one, i hope they didnt all come out at once

edit: looking at last years thread most likely's were for SEASer's anyway, not CC. w/e

Never knew they sent out likely e-mails.

Probably won't get one though :(

None here(applied ED SEAS, deferred) :(

Congratulations champ and fanz you've been accepted to Columbia. You should now look into columbia more carefully cause they want you. Be prepared to start receiving phone calls and letters from professors and students, you'll find that Columbia will be able to answer any question you want, at least they did to my satisfaction.

pretty much. just dont get a felony charge or get more than 1 c and you're golden.

congrats! just wondering, but do you know what you had that was especially amazing in your apps that got you the likely email? it must have been something really good.

envies

Congrats!

Champion, did you apply to CC, or SEAS?

I applied to CC.

Congrats....!

My friend got one also. Not a URM or any other special case. I think she applied to SEAS though. Scores were 2220 on the SAT, 780 Math IIC, and that's about all she told me.

how incredibly cool...
congratulations...

yeah no kidding...congrats

I got one yesterday too. SEAS.

what do they say?

Congrats, congrats!!

Do you think all likely letters have been sent out or are they doing it in waves/batches?

that'd be so nice! like rolling admissions, ivy-style

quick question: so are these likely emails (i got one) basically like saying that we ARE going to get accepted---cause I got a B in Calc BC (I know, it seems like I'm stressin' over nothing, but based on my performance it seems like a "slip"). I saw a previous post (not sure if it was by a Columbia student or officer) saying that as long as we don't get "felony charges" or more than 1 C we are golden---anyone know how true that is?
