Actually 10000 more + maybe be a few more thousands this year

@Angelus292, I like your thinking :D

@barvoets. Thank you(:My thinking is the only reason why im not crying in a dark corner out of nervousness. lol Good luck!^-^

Likely letters arenât sent out until mid-March, at least thatâs how it works for the College of Engineering.

And if you have any doubts, mine said, verbatim âyou are very likely to be admitted to Cornell.â

Not getting a likely letter in no way means you wonât be admitted. In my case, I think they sent it out so that people who wanted to do the Women In Engineering program had enough time to work out travel plans.

Hope this helps and good luck!

has anybody received likely letters this year?

Just for reference, when I applied, I received my likely letter 3/14 from CoE last year. So if youâre hoping for a likely letter, just be patient.

Wait what about women in engineering at the CALS? Or this only applies to COE?

Any LL for solely females in engineering yet?

Just got a likely email!! So excited. Female applied to CoE only! :D

My daughter got a likely email from COE too. Good luck everyone

Congrats and thanks for the heads up. My daughter checked her email and she also got a likely email for Engineering. So exciting!

I just got mine from COE! :)

Does anyone know when they will finish notifying people?

I want to get mine but my hopeless is increasing over time :(

Me too~~~I got one from CoE as well

Me too! Yay. As an international, this is gratifying.

syk1994, the last day for the Ivy League to issue likelies was the 15th. Your only hope at this point is that they snail mailed some out, but that is highly unlikely since so many were emailed.

if i donât get a likely, does it mean that i have no chance? D:

I donât know but it looks like I have a different sort of likely. It says nothing about a diversity event. Did anyone get this-

âYour application to Cornell University has been reviewed by the admissions selection committee, and I am writing to let you know that you will be offered admission to Cornell. Although Ivy League institutions wonÂt officially notify students of their admission decisions until later this month, we wanted to share this good news with you now.â

Iâm an international student. Um, does everyoneâs email say this or is mine a different email?

@fireflies: congrats! Donât worry that different people are getting different letters. Yours which says âyou will be offered admission to Cornellâ is all you need to know. Go celebrate!

Why does it ask for your senior year grades in late February? Shouldnât you have already sent in a midyear?

And I heard that colleges donât even care if you donât send in a midyear unless they call and ask for it.
