Low GPA, High SAT: Accepted?

Okay, so I need some reassurance.. Has anyone gotten into fall/summer b with a low GPA (3.4-3.6 unweighted or 3.8-4.1 weighted), and a higher SAT score (1950-2050)?

I'm applying for Summer B, and I fear that at this rate, I may not even get in... I have a very strong schedule. I took 4 APs last year, and now, as a Senior, I have 7 AP classes. However, I got almost straight B's last year and the year before, and I have one C on my transcript. But I have a 4.1 weighted GPA because of my tough course load, and my rank is in the top 8%. I'm an AP scholar with honors.. I want to know if there is anyone who was in a similar or worse situation and got accepted?? I really want to go to this school.. it's my first choice, and I'm so worried. I feel like UF loves IB kids, but I'm an AP student... but if it helps at all, I'm hispanic.. I'm just really scared, because I feel like UF stresses grades so much... And although I have the strength of schedule, it's composed of all these B's..

i don’t understand why you keep making chance-me threads/posts. you’re not going to hear anything you haven’t heard already. i don’t even know you and i feel like you’re fixating way too much on this. its not good for you.

You’re right… I just looked at all the things I posted… maybe I got a bit carried away. I guess there’s nothing I can do now but wait. Thanks for the wake up call.

i’m not trying to be critical. i don’t know you, and i don’t really care about people posting stuff over and over again. go out and enjoy your senior year in high school–that should be your priority after you’ve done everything you can do in terms of your application. like you said, all you can do is wait, and thats not fun at all. you’ll enjoy doing on things in the meantime.
