Low GPA, High SAT, Venezuela to US

Hi. It's, quite frankly, hard to admit, but I'm not exactly the best student around. I'm smart. Like really smart, at least for Venezuelan standards. My Venezuelan average is 17.5 out of 20. So a GPA of about 3.5. My SAT score can easily reach over the 2000's, possibly I can even get to 2200. I'm moving to the US, applying to college. As for major, if it matters, I was thinking something along the lines of Computer Science. What else? Oh, extracurriculars. Not much. I'm extremely introverted and kind of stuck at home. I'm not thinking of getting into any legendary colleges (Ivy), heh, I don't really think I would have a shot at those. But I do want something good-great.

Is my GPA high enough?

Will my SAT make up for my grades?

I know competition is fierce, and I seek comfort in numbers. As an extra, if you could link me to any sites or info you think might help, please do.

Thanks a lot, I'm really nervous and feel like I have no idea what I'm getting into.

really depends on what schools u have in mind. I have been told extracurriculars are a big deal
