I failed the physics regents, but I passed the class with a 92. Is it going to affect my admissions to cornell? Also would anyone suggest appealing? If I were to appeal what process would I have to go through? (I received a 63)

How did you do so badly on the regent. It should be easier than your class? I know that they don’t really count regents but since you failed…I dont know

well I was just having a bad day and I took it as a joke.

it might actually affect you since Cornell is in NY, which means they could put regent’s score into consideration. However, u can always try to take AP Physic or SAT II Physic to make it up. The end, regents don’t affect u too much… (it’s actually tests to show if teachers cover every materials and how students perform in NY)
Another thing is that 92 average in Physic might not seems so bright to these IVY’s like Cornell. if u are considering science major, you should always try to raise your grade as much as possible…

just retake it in august
