No opinions?

Oh c'mon it took a long time to type that...

& I just got March 1 SAT scores: 780CR/760W/650M = 2190

The other schools:
- Michigan
- Madison
- UVA
- UMN is an auto-safety.

Your hook is not really a hook.
If you have good essays, you should have a decent chance.
But there always is a good amount of randomness.
I don't know that much about out of state but you seem pretty solid.

I think you're a reach for Cal OOS

and agree on the "hook" thing: most in-state people pay full-tuition, and if you're OOS they won't give you good aid anyway, so it doesn't matter

I think you have pretty good chances because they like to see people who take college classes, so that they don't end up spending 5+ years at cal like some do.

your gpa and sat score seem fine. but i think the ucs require 3years of math and science and recommend 4years. your courses are quite random. i think you'd be between reach/match.

^ Very good to know. I'm mainly focused on Spanish/Latino culture but I better sign up for some math and science courses, haha. Maybe I'll take some this summer.

yea you definitely have some interesting coursework. i think you have a slight shot as long as you're not applying for to engineering or chemistry. you'll probably be a match if you can write some good essays to make sense of that coursework and ECs.
