Lower Division Transfer to UC

When transferring to a UC:

-How do the Uc's calculate GPA for classes that I retake in Community College and classes from High School?
-Do the UC's look at SAT/ACT scores?
-Is the chances very slim to get in?

they don't look at your sat/act scores.

the chance of getting in depends on how strong of an applicant you are.

I believe the UCs only look at high school grades if you transfer with under 60 units. They don't look at SAT/ACT scores.

If transferring as a junior, they will only consider your CC record.

Getting into a UC via transfer is easier than out of high school. Do well in CC and write your ticket to the UC of your choice.

If you are a lower division transfer student, less than 60 semester units, you must have met the Freshman UC eligibility requirements that in place when you graduated high school. Therefore, we will have to review your ACT/SAT exam scores. If you did not complete these exams then you will not be eligible to apply as a lower division transfer. The chances of a lower division transfer will vary from UC campus to campus. Please see the Open/Closed majors list to see what options are available for a lower division transfer student, http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/apply_majors.html
