Lowest Accepted GPA

So… I already made an ignored final post, so I’ll see if I can go out with a bang. This is officially my last thread and post on the Penn forum. Now I’ve a few fun facts and a question.
Fun fact one: I was rejected.
Fun fact two: A “friend” of mine who’s statistics where atleast 3 times better than mine got deffered.
Fun fact three: A “dumb” valedictorian from a local school got in.
As sympathetic posters will see from a fore mentioned facts, my life isn’t really fun. But here’s the thing. Rather than wallow in my own misery (I’m trying to ignore the pain), I’ll make a little request to help me get over it. Could it be established what is the lowest GPA accepted or deffered? I’m guessing that was the part of my application that killed me (I had a 3.31 unweighted and a 4.1 weighted).

But yeah, congrats to those who got in.

:> (By the way that emo-icon is a coot)

Farewell to all.

PS Yes, I will look at this thread in hopes of finding an answer I just won’t be posting anything

I don't have an answer to your question, but I do think they put a lot of weight on the GPA. I got in and so did another girl from my school, and we both have 4.0s UW. But the other person from my school was rejected..I don't know his GPA, but I do know he's barely in the top 10%. We all have similar SAT scores and his ECs were much better than ours, so GPA must have played a large part.

I had 3.86...weighted in 2002.

On the plus side my SATs were near perfect.
