<p>I sent in my application on January 20th and sent in a check for my application fee on Monday (the 28th). It lists my application as having been submitted online, but I have not received any verification through e-mail or the mail. When should I receive verification that they received my check with my UW NetID included? I realize it's only been 3 days and they might not receive the check until tomorrow, but I'm very anxious in case something goes wrong and they don't get it.</p>

<p>All I sent to the Admissions Office was a check with a brief letter verifying it was for the application fee of "My Name Here". Was that sufficient?</p>
<p>I would suggest calling the admissions office on Monday and ask them if they have received your check. When my son submitted his online application (he paid the fee at that time, via credit card), they sent him a confirmatory email a couple of days later. I'm thinking it will take a while to get your check matched up with your file, as they are dealing with a large number of applications.</p>
<p>I guess so long your application is submitted post-marked witin the deadline you should be fine. You may want to check your bank account (online maybe) and see if any debit has come. </p>
<p>And I agree with a previous poster, call them, let them know you sent, ask them if they received and if not as to when you should check back.</p>
<p>On the check, however, I would have added some more info (such as SSN or application number) so they can match you exactly - I am just suspecting if there is any one else with exactly your name; or do you think you are the unique applicant :) !</p>
