<p>quick question! I was admitted to UCSD as an Econ. major. Would I be able to change my major to Management Science if I choose to attend UCSD? </p>
<p>I chose Bus. Admin. major not because it’s useful but because that’s what I want to study. STEM would be a better choice for my future, but at the same time, I don’t want to study something that I have no interest in. Hopefully this decision works out for me haha</p>
<p>@caboy26 If you were admitted into a Econ department at ucsd, then you should be able to switch majors. You should contact admissions asap. and for your 2nd opinion. I totally agree. I would go into engineering etc if i was actually interested in it, but im not ><. is UCsd ur top choice?</p>
<p>^caboy- I was accepted under Econ and then changed it to math/econ. There is a link on mytritonlink where you can request a major change, and they’ll do it for you within a couple days</p>

<p>@caboy- when you sign in, there is a “contact us if you have any questions”, click on that and in the subject section tab, choose “change of major,” and then write what you want to change your major to. </p>
