I'm just curious as to what this double major would lead to. For instance, what kind of jobs/career path would it lead to? I've also thought Political Science & Env. Science would be an interesting combo. What do you guys think?

Some companies specialize in environmental technology so you might be able to get an entry level job there out of college. Depending on what state you’re in, like California for example, there is a lot of environmental regulation and the rest of the country will catch up in the future, some states much later than others, but some will need people to advise them on how to keep up with environmental standards.

If one of those 2 aren’t really the case, than a company might take pride in doing right by the environment and they’d need someone with a background on environmental science. You combine that knowledge with a business degree, you can be marketable.

Sustainability and eco-friendliness, especially in the arena of public relations, is an ever increasing area of concern in business, so such a double major sounds worthwhile and marketable.

You have some interesting ideas. Summer job experience (paid or unpaid) in the environmental field should be a big priority.
