Thank you BassDad, for the congratulations and for all the time and attention you devote to helping all of us! He was also accepted to UDenver (Lamont), Lawrence and BU. They are mostly BM, but he has since applying decided a dual degree/double major makes much more sense for him. Has received merit offers at some of the schools, but prefer not post that information, if it’s okay.

Congratulations to FluteTooterMom and daughter. My wife is an SU Music Ed alumna and my son is a junior year Philosophy/Psychology major there now if you want to PM me with any questions.

baritonemom, thanks for the additional schools. I completely understand if you would prefer not to share the scholarship info. I can include them in the statistics anonymously if you are willing to tell me what they are in a PM, but certainly understand if you do not want to do that either.

D accepted to Eastman and CCM for BM in Vocal Performance but denied from her first choice, Rice (Shepherd School of Music).

This is so dissappointing for her :frowning: but i am sure she will do fine wherever she goes

Congratulations to musicmom84 and daughter.

Congratulations to BaritoneDad and son.

D was accepted to Manhattan School of Music for a master’s in clarinet performance. Waiting was difficult; choosing where to go may be even tougher.

Son just accepted to Indiana University, BM Vocal Performance. Waitlisted at Vanderbilt, but that was way down his list. I think it will be Rice or Indiana. Very different schools, I know. Still waiting on scholarship.
